Brides Unleashed: The Penitent by seankylestudios Brides Unleashed: The Penitent by seankylestudios
The first Bride is almost unleashed!  Sculpting officially wrapped, moving onto molding and casting now.  She will be available as a kit and pre-painted statue, drop me a note or an e-mail if your interested in picking her up.  Here's her character synopsis:

Marion McGregor was born in the dark ages to a pure, God-Fearing existence, until she crossed paths with a being neither demon nor man, known to history as 'The Impaler'.  Cursed by her new host with soulless immortality, she became one of three brides to the creature.  For centuries, she reveled in the pleasures of bloodshed and pain, her past life an ever distant memory, until the fateful night when a cadre of noblemen struck down her master.  With the Impaler gone, her soul was returned to her, though still she was damned to eternity as the living dead.  Unable to cope with the pain she'd inflicted, Marion secluded herself to a life in service to God, not for her own salvation, but to the service of those she once regarded as prey.  Though her curse made life on holy ground painful, and the sight of God's symbols seared her eyes, she found peace in her penitence, but still felt herself trapped between two worlds.  Finally on one fateful eve, she found her true purpose.  In defense of two wayfarers, pursued by demons born from her brethren, Marion bound her eyes and took up the cross.  Though her flesh ignited to it's touch, the pain was righteous, and in wielding it, with each demon she struck from this world, she felt galvanized, gaining a strength beyond any granted to her through devilry.  Now, together with her new allies, she will embark on a mission to gather those like them, to seek the things that go lurk in the shadows, and bring light to the darkness with righteous fury.

no prob :), a quick question: do you always use super sculpey?

I'd say my work is about 85% super sculpey (firm, medium, and flesh) the other 15% is a mix of epoxy, monster clay, and very rarely wax.
