Does your brain lag at all when switching between sculpting fleshy bits and mechanical bits? For example, I usually have to pause a few moments when going from sculpting a soft boob to hard metal panel lines or something.

I had to sculpt a female robot once, drove me nuts.

Maybe the paint fumes are just getting to me lol

I have generally switched over to gray firm or medium blend for everything except the raw nude body form or encountered fabric clothing.  For these two things regular pink sculpey, with it's high elasticity and easier blending, allows me to throw down nudeofrms with my eyes closed.  And it's flexibility synchs well with the way I do wrinkle work with various fits of 'close-to-skin clothing.  Sometimes I will mix it with gray firm and softener for better light/contrast honesty, but sometimes I just whip it up, bake it, prime it, and polish the areas in post (after-bake sanding and buffing) But for anything mechanical, geometrical, or even remotely detailed beyond organic texture, I use firm and sharpen/replace my cutting tools habitually.
